Check-in
Check-in for the Festival opens at 16:30 on Friday, June 7th.
On Saturday the 8th, check-in starts at 10:00
We have a checkroom to store your bags and clothes.

Guidelines, House Rules and Good Manners
- For general dance guidelines, please visit Etiquette 101 at Forró in Karlsruhe e.V. site.
- In some workshop rooms only clean dancing shoes are allowed. Please bring appropriate footwear, no street shoes!
- You can bring your own bottles during the day for the workshops. There will be free water distributors in the bar area. Free coffee will be available, too.
In the evening no own bottles are allowed. Please support our event venue by buying drinks including cocktails at the bar.
- Jubez an institution that hosts our event with great care and attention. This is your space and everyone’s, so please keep it clean.
- Use the tables to put down drinks and return empty glasses and bottles, avoiding accidents on the dance floor. Glass is prohibited on dance floors and workshop rooms.
- Respect the dance space and don’t leave your belongings around. We have a checkroom to store your bags and clothes.
- Please support our festival by buying our merchandise. Thank you for your help!
- Smoking is not allowed inside any of the event venues.
- There are residents all around the venue. Respect those who are resting and avoid problems for the festival by reducing the noise outside at night.
- We want Forró de KA Festival to be a safe and happy space and we do not tolerate any kind of violence or abuse. If you see or are the target of any inappropriate or abusive attitude/behavior, please report it to a member of our team.

What kind of tickets are there and what do they include?
There are 3 types of tickets for Forró de KA Festival:
- The Full Pass ticket gives access to all workshops and parties (DJ sets and shows), all the days (June 7th to 9th),
- the Party Pass ticket gives access to all the parties of the festival all the days,
- and the Concert Pass ticket for the concert of the day.
Full Pass and Party Pass are available online, Concert Pass at the entrance (cash only).
*) Pre-Party and After-Party are not included in the festival tickets.
*) Accommodation, flights, food and any other costs are the responsibility of the participant.

Ticket refund policy
Festival tickets are not refundable and not personalized. They can be resold on your own responsibility. Each ticket allows one person to enters the festival.
At the first check-in the ticket will be exchanged against a festival bracelet, which is then not transferable to another person anymore.

Can I buy a ticket for only one day of the festival/1 class/1 party?
The only ticket types online are Full/Party Pass tickets. Classes can only be attended by Full Pass and no classes can be purchased individually.
You can buy a concert ticket at the door, which gives you access to concert of that day. Concert tickets are limited to the capacity of the party space.

How can I guarantee my entrance to the parties?
The only way to guarantee admission to the parties is to purchase any of the Full/Party Pass tickets.
Concert tickets for each day will be subject to availability.

Payment at the festival is CASH only (bar, food, merchandise mostly).

Photos and Videographing
By buying a ticket you agree to appear in pictures and videos made during this event. The visual content will be published for marketing purposes on the internet, on social media and in print media.
If you don’t want to be appear on pictures please approach our photographer.

Safety, First Aid, and Insurance
For your safety our venue has an event liability insurance. Furthermore we have a team of medically trained festival participants who can intervene and help in case of a medical emergency.
