With 23 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, and physical education teacher, Yse is a true pioneer of Forró Roots. Originally from Florianópolis, Brazil, she discovered her passion for forró in 2009 and has since shared it worldwide – including in Europe and the United States. Now based in Espinho, Portugal, she leads the Porto Roots Project, where she continues to teach and spread the roots of the dance.
